The 2026 NHL Draft Lottery is officially set, and the Vancouver Canucks’ new management group, led by Ryan Johnson, is ready to make an aggressive splash! While everyone is talking about the top-three picks, the REAL value for Vancouver might lie in the next tier of elite prospects. In this video, we break down four massive draft targets who could realistically fall to the Canucks at 24th overall—or become primary targets if Vancouver decides to move down. From offensive powerhouse Daxon Rudolph to the massive 6'5" frame of Ethan Belchetz, we analyze the strengths, weaknesses, and NHL potential of the players who will define this Canucks rebuild!
In this episode, we discuss:
✅ DAXON RUDOLPH: Is he the future top-pairing RHD the Canucks need?
✅ TYNAN LAWRENCE: A top-5 talent falling down the ranks—is he a draft-day steal?
✅ ETHAN BELCHETZ: The 6'5" power forward with high-end skill.
✅ ADAM NOVOTNY: Why this Czech winger is the safest bet for the Canucks' middle-six.
The Line Change is your home for the most in-depth Vancouver Canucks rebuild coverage. We’re breaking down every trade, every hiring, and every prospect move as this team tries to find its way back to greatness.
Will Ryan Johnson stay patient at 24, or is a draft-day trade inevitable? Let us know who YOU want the Canucks to take!
