Who will the Vancouver Canucks take at No. 3? 🏒 The 2026 NHL Draft is less than four weeks away, and the Vancouver Canucks are facing their most important decision in nearly three decades. While many fans and experts have penciled in Caleb Malhotra as a "slam dunk" selection, a new report from Cam Robinson (Elite Prospects) suggests there is a MAJOR internal split within the Canucks front office. Here we break down the three-way debate currently happening in Vancouver. Is the pick Malhotra, or could the Canucks pivot to Swedish phenom Ivar Stenberg or the towering Keaton Verhoeff?
In this episode, we discuss:
✅ The "Internal Split": Why the Canucks management is reportedly torn between three elite prospects.
✅ The Stenberg Factor: Could Ivar Stenberg’s historic SHL production (surpassing Henrik Sedin!) make him too good to pass up?
✅ The Verhoeff Wildcard: Why scouts like Todd Harvey might still be leaning toward the 6-foot-4 defenseman despite his recent slide in rankings.
✅ Malhotra vs. The Field: Is the OHL standout still the favorite, or are we headed for a draft-day surprise?
