Should the Canucks target Michael McCarron? And is he the PERFECT Depth Target?! The Vancouver Canucks have a massive physical hole in their lineup, and with NHL Free Agency right around the corner on July 1st, the rumors are already swirling. In a recent episode of 32 Thoughts, Elliotte Friedman linked the Canucks to a massive target: 6’6”, 232lb center Michael McCarron.
In this episode, we discuss:
✅ Elliotte Friedman’s prediction on the Canucks pursuing McCarron.
✅ Why McCarron’s 205 hits and physical play are exactly what Vancouver needs.
✅ How he could fix the Canucks’ league-worst penalty kill.
✅ The financial side: Can the Canucks outbid the field for a premier depth piece?
✅ The "Trade Value" factor: Why signing McCarron is a smart rebuild move.
