The 2026 NHL Entry Draft is approaching, and two names are skyrocketing up the rankings: Markus and Liam Ruck. The Osoyoos-born twins just dominated the WHL scoring race with the Medicine Hat Tigers, putting up a combined 212 points this season. With Markus’ elite playmaking and Liam’s natural goal-scoring touch, they’re quickly becoming the most intriguing duo in the draft class. But for Canucks fans, the interest goes beyond the stats—it’s about the chance to see a second set of twins lead the franchise.
In this video, we dive deep into:
✅ The Stats: How the Ruck twins went from mid-round prospects to potential first-rounders.
✅ The Feasibility: A look at the Canucks' 2026 draft capital (including those key picks from Minnesota and San Jose).
✅ The Strategy: How Vancouver could navigate the board to select BOTH brothers—including potential trade-up scenarios.
✅ The Sedin Factor: Could Henrik and Daniel provide the ultimate blueprint for the Rucks' NHL success?
Is drafting for "novelty" worth it, or should the Canucks stick strictly to the Best Player Available?
